When Delhi-based architectural firm, Nandika Interiors, took up the Shelly Ashok Vihar residential project, it was under the direction of architect extraordinaire Nupur Jain. Nestled in a modern neighborhood, the home features a design that plays with earthy tones and soft greys with hints of striking gold. The essence of the space is captured with a mix of textures and materials that blend well together. Jain uses modern décor to complement the monotone colour palette when curating this luxuriously comfortable home. The combination feels rooted yet glamorous. With the use of a generous amount of wood and golden metal, the Shelly Ashok Vihar project feels lavishly informal yet subtly elegant.
Tying the home together are striking textured walls illuminated with trendy light fixtures. To create a warm family-centric ambiance, one passage wall received special attention when Jain transformed it into a photo gallery full of memories. The stunning bathrooms are steeped in granite and are also accented with a spread of LED lights and high-end fittings. The piece de resistance is a chic and spaciously designed AV room with a built-in bar, surround sound, and a projector with a screen, the perfect spot to unwind and entertain family and friends.
Incorporating ICA Italian Wood Finishes in PU Pigment & Clear and Satin material, the posh Shelly Ashok Vihar home breaks free of stereotypical design schemes. Jain’s creative streak led to the design of an aesthetically splendid home. It adds a distinct personality to the space making the home an extraordinary living experience.
